At LUME, every resident is a valued luminary, contributing to the warmth and dynamic spirit of our homes.

As a LUME co-living luminary, your accommodation includes a cozy full, queen or king-sized bed, a handy work station, an ambient lamp, dresser, ample clothes storage, and hangers to keep your wardrobe organized. The shared common space welcomes you with a tastefully furnished living room and dining area, complete with appliances, cutlery, and essential supplies like toilet paper, dishwashing soap, sponges, and laundry detergent. Please note that additional furniture from luminaries is not permitted. The specifics of co-living amenities may vary by location, so be sure to speak with your leasing specialist for a detailed inventory of what’s included in your LUME home.

For our Luminaries residing in the first-floor unit, LUME provides an exclusive parking space located at the back of the home, available for a fee. Additionally, there is ample street parking for luminaries at no extra cost.

Absolutely! We welcome you and your friend to join our co-living community together. If both of you meet our qualifying criteria and we have space available, we’ll make every effort to accommodate your request to share a suite. Please note that in compliance with Fair Housing Laws, we ensure that roommate selection does not discriminate based on gender, religion, or other protected characteristics. This means we cannot guarantee housing arrangements such as an all-female suite, but we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all luminaries.

At LUME, we value the comfort and privacy of our luminaries, which is why each suite is designed for single occupancy. However, if you have a friend(s), spouse, or partner and are interested in renting out an entire LUME home together, we’re here to help make that happen. Please reach out to one of our leasing specialists, and they will assist you in finding a LUME home that suits your needs, where you can create a shared living experience tailored just for you.

We’re dedicated to ensuring that every luminary at LUME enjoys their own private and personal space. Therefore, our policy does not permit room sharing. Each individual is allocated their own separate suite to maintain the quality, comfort, and privacy that LUME is known for.

At LUME, we prioritize your comfort and privacy. Each of our suites is designed with individual bathrooms, so we do not offer shared bathroom facilities. This ensures that every luminary has their own private space to refresh and relax without compromise.

We love our furry friends, but to ensure the comfort and safety of all our residents, LUME generally does not permit pets in our homes. The exception to this rule is for individuals with a qualified disability who require the assistance of a service animal. In such cases, we are fully compliant with all applicable laws and will work with the resident to accommodate their needs. If you have a service animal for a disability, please reach out to our team to discuss your requirements.

Getting started with LUME is straightforward and convenient, with the option to complete the entire application process online or in-person for those nearby. Here’s how it works:

1. Initial Application: Begin by filling out our online application form. You’ll then have a conversation with one of our home specialists to discuss your needs.

2. Touring: If you’re in the local area, we invite you for an in-person tour of our spaces. For those further away, we offer virtual tours to explore your future home from anywhere.

3. Formal Application: Following your tour, whether virtual or in-person, you’ll receive an online application form to complete. 

4. Qualification: Before the tour, a specialist will get in touch to ensure you qualify and to find the home that best suits your requirements.

5. Reservation: Once you’ve chosen your room and completed the application, you can reserve it. We’ll conduct a background check at this stage.

6. Finalizing: If all goes well with the background check, the last step is to sign your lease, and then you’re all set to become a Luminary at LUME!
